ive seen a couple fc's with them, any aftermarket company sell them, or do they have to be taken from certain models? if so, which models came factory with them?

 

I'm pretty sure they were strictly aftermarket, but I'm not entirely sure. Try a search.

 

i would like to know the same thing my uncle said they were on the 91's but he said he didnt know if they were on any other years because i would love to have one myself

 

100% aftermarket

 

North American Dealer installed option (from the Mazda Finish Line Accessories) and aftermarket by the former Pacific T-Top Inc.

They were never available from the factory as stock.

Not that much heaveier. I have seen them sold for as little as 250 and as high as 475.

Saratoga Tops (formally headquartered in Clifton Park NY) also made an EXCELLANT top. Alas S.T. moved to Charlotte NC, leaving all the molds and extrusion dies in a barn somewhere in NY. THEY HAVE NO INTEREST IN STARTING PRODUCTION AGAIN!!! I tried!
