The fuel pump- Is it spinning impellor or plunger type?

The fuel pump- Is it spinning impellor or plunger type?
I have always assumed it was a solenoid & plunger type.
It could be a spinning gear or impellor type.
So who has actually checked?

It's a spinning type.
Not a gear, but a rubber impeller on a shaft.
