mine came with one stock, but I hear they are pretty rare. Im sure it would just be bolt on replacement. 50 is fare for a junkyard

Well tell my which junk yard so I can go make sure it's in good shape

One request - take some pics for us (underneath, open, closed, etc..) and post them.

Hopefully I can find someone to make us some again

Yeah they're very rare - especially the OEM one (vs the pacific glass ones mazda also offered).

Those are rare as 4.33 LSD rear end, which I'm getting for $80 , probably more rare. Get it and sell it to me.

Yeah, very rare, They did come stock...barely lol.
You see one, grab it. Either keep it, or toss it on ebay and make $250+

They were available as a dealer installed option for a few years as well as at least one or two aftermarket companies built them.

I agree with everyone, if it really is a stock replacement glass roof, buy it. Even if you can't use it in your car I bet you could sell it on ebay for at least $150

I asked the TRI7 list about them a few years ago and was quoted $200 for an average price...$50 is a great deal if it's a direct replacement, not something aftermarket.

Just be aware of the weatherstripping. I bought a Pacific glass one and the weatherstripping needed to be replaced. It doesn't use the same weatherstripping that the metal roof uses and I'm not have much luck finding a replacement.

try over 400 if you find a desperate buyer. the 2nd gen glass roofs are not as common as the 1st gen ones, so the price for admission is much higher

I have a glass sunroof, but I think it may be aftermarket. It's not powered, only opens manually, and is a little smaller than the metal sunroofs I've seen on FC's.
