Getting TII hood painted, use n/a hood till done?

Well I'm getting my TII hood painted and I was wondering if I could run my turbo car with an n/a hood till its done. Hook me up with some info. Only if you really know about the subject.

It wont fit. The TII hood is higher for the intercooler. Let alone the fact that the intercooler will not be getting any cool air.

A couple of people claim that the stock 13BT will fit under a NA hood, but I know when I put a rebuilt Jspec 13BT into my 'vert it hit the stock intercooler.

So you might just have to try it if you have a coupe, maybe since the 'vert engine mounts are bigger, that is the issue.

Since you run lower compression when not under boost, you will be fine. The question I pose to you is can you keep the car from boosting? I couldn't

Once upon a time long ago, I saw a post by Kabooski who put a turboii engine in a n/a and was using the original N/A hood.

I have the NA hood on my NA/T2 conversion car, but I took off the metal "trim" on top of the intercooler. It fits OK. Not sure, but I didn't think the scoop got much air at high speeds anyway.
