getting started on the mods
I'm going to start adding some power to my 88 t2 soon. basicly I need to know how to get started.
My goal will be eventually 350+ rwhp over the next year. Whats the first few things I can do?
I need to be safe. Should I go ahead and upgrade my fuel system? Fuel pump? Wich one?
should I go ahed and get a FCD? RB, or does someone else make a better/cheaper one?
What about exhaust? what system will support the kind of power that I want that I can use now? Anythng? Would I be better off having one built using aftermarket components (i.e. mufflers, cats, down pipe, ect ).
Are there any "chips" that are worth a damn for my car?
I have built and worked on performance 1st gens for a few years now but this is my first experiance with Turbo. I Basically need all the info I can get about achieving my hp goal safely.
Thank you,
Mike
