Why in the name of all that is good and holy would you do something like that?!

The Megasquirt has a built in MAP sensor. Use it. AFM code in the 'Squirt is still in beta stage and should not be used for anything other then an experiment. If you need more range then the stock sensor in the 'Squirt can provide, there is a 3 bar option as well as the wicked 4 bar "Map Daddy" sensor.

However before you start this project, you're going to have to do some serious reading and learning. The Megasquirt is not an ECU for the light hearted. Installing it will require intimate knowledge of the engine (do you know what your trigger angles are? ) as well as electronics knowledge (you do realise that you have to modify the Megasquirt to allow it to run rotary ignition, right?).

ya im vagely aware of it, im sill reading all of the mega squirt info i can find, ive been reading up on the fourm, and links diy autotune sent me.

i still have alot 2 go through, the ms1 wont be hooked up until i get the motor running prefact with the stocl ecu, and different sensors, boost levels, and tuneing wont go into effect until i am positive the work on the ecu is flawless, and when i can afford my ic setup, so i still have alot of time 2 learn a alot of things

btw on the whole trigger angle thing ive no dug 2 deep, but it deals with timing at btdc, and atdc,
and something about the fireing between rotors 180deg. apart.

like i said i have alot more 2 read
