Gernade shifter!
So project84 and I had some freetime on Friday, and decided to throw together a shifter. A little planning and we were off looking for something clever to use. Anyonebody want one? Its pretty decent looking. The one in the picture is natural (metal) color, however could easily be painted to the true color: olive drab. They could be painted any color very easily however.
We would be looking to sell them for ~$25 shipped to the 48 lower states... They will be made on demand, so expect a couple days turnover... If you're interested, leave me a PM.
Don't mind my messy car-- the interrior really does need help.
(and yeah the picts are on a slow server)
EDIT: I just realised how large those pictures are-- im working on getting them below 120kb

I thought about that when we were doing this, but we ran into a couple problems.
1. Real grenades are harder to get.
2. We didn't want to test it on either one of our cars
3. Kinda pointless to blow someone up in the car. You'll never get the smell out of the carpets

I dunno, I didn't get any offers on the exhaust though :P I bid $50 on a complete stock exhaust on ebay a couple days ago. I went out last night confident no one in there right mind would want to buy stock exhaust, and it sold for $62. LOL oh well-- not like I had the money to pay for it anyway. BTW: check out my thread in 2nd gen for sale forum. Might find something you need/want.'

Otherwise its not a bad feel, the lever is the only part a bit awkward feeling, and it can be easily removed via the pull pin doodad. Better yet, wire up a microswitch to it

Grenades are ergonomically correct. Feels like throwing a base ball when you throw them. The notches don't hurt your hand when you use it to shift. But, we can also get the smooth round ones too.

I would never get past the guard shack at work. Try to drive across a border. What if you parked in the wrong spot and someone called the bomb squad ?.........Just thinking

hahaha, it looks hilarious... would definetly be great to have in the car but, I wouldn't purchase one myself. Great gift Idea, or practical joke. for 25 bucks it beats most of the shifters at advance auto parts anyways.
