General Info needed...

I know you guys probably have answered these questions a million times, but I don't know a dam thing about rx7's so please enlighten me.

I'm just wondering what Turbo II's run stock 0-60 and 1/4, and the easiest and safest way to break into 13's. I don't want a super fast car, just quick, and 13.9 would be fine. BTW, I have never driven one (don't laugh) I just think they look very nice and sporty and the price is right, so let me know. Thanks.

Also, what's the best year of the Turbo II and why?

They are basically low 15-second 1/4-mile and mid 6's 0-60mph vehicles according to the magazines.

To build a 13-second FC...
Full exhaust from turbo back, no cats, no emissions
Upgrade fuel pump
FCD - Fuel Cut Defenser for overboost fuel-cut if running stock ECU
Cone filter intake
TID replacement

You're looking at a consistent 13.5-14.0 1/4-mile running producing about 250hp at the flywheel.

I like the 1989-1991 Kouki Turbo II's, as you have a much more refined engine and turbo system.&nbsp You're starting out with a little more power (200 versus 186) over the 1986-1988 Zenki turbos, but the extra weight is arguable against you.&nbsp The better turbo system makes for a much broader power band, and the double-flapper wastegate is better to minimize boost creep.
