Gauges To Match

Ok this is just somewhat of a pet peeve of mine I guess is I like stuff to match. My aftermarket headunit had the option of making the lighting orange to match the factory gauges and heater/ac controls which I love. Has anyone found any aftermarket gauges that are black and glow through orange??? I want to add a water temp and a oil pressure gauge but I cant find anything like that any ideas?

Prosport premium series actually match the stock dash lighting pretty good. In amber mode anyways.

There are some japanese gauges from back in the day that matched very well. But the problems are a) finding them b) not paying the "JDM" tax to the snot nosed yokel who is selling them c) being **** out of luck if the sending unit doesn't work, or if anything breaks because the gauge is about as old as the car.

I like the autometer but are a little pricey. I really like the prosports and they are very reasonably priced. Anyone have those?

+1 for prosport. there just barely off from looking completely stock but they still match great and work great.

These are red illuminated. Other than that they'd be perfect

If you want black face amber lighting and do not want a tinted lens, then Greddy has a series that is just that.

If you don't mind the tinted face, and are scared by the spotty reviews on the ProSports, there is also STRI

http://www.striracing.com/pro_d_e.htm

I went with these since they also have a warning function, and the Greddy wasn't available in the temp range I wanted.

If I could get a set of the old school HKS with the amber lettering...

Stri is almost EXACTLY the same as prosport, but cheaper built. I know a couple guys running them, but there's a local speed shop here with a STRI display. Has three gauges that go through the startup/shut down sequence on a little board.

2 of them are broken and its 2 months old

And there's always mixed reviews of everything. ****, I've seen broken Defi gauges! And the JDM fanbois would **** rice patties if they thought a piece of JDM technology could break down.

I've had 4 premium electric Prosport gauges for 2 years now and have had no problems. I have them on white during the day and amber at night. Works for me, but it may not for you. Just sharing my experience.
