Gauge Lights not working

Well, out of nowhere my gauge lights, and all the lights on my logicon have stopped working... Actually, not quite out of nowhere... they stopped when my starter quit on me.

Is there a fuse that might be blown, or what could be the culprit?

Uh... the tail light fuse is the same fuse as the dash lights and the parking lights... parking lights still work...hench a burnt up light switch (as covered in the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this here 2nd gen RX-7 technical section).

Yeah, Icemark I read that. Thanks. Is this something that is difficult for me to do? Could you walk me through it... or will I have to take it in to get checked out?

well you will need to remove steering column surround (4 screws from the bottom) then you can remove the gauge surround (two screws on the bottom- three on the top).

Then reach around and unplug the wiper switch, cruise control switch (if equipped), turn signal switch and finally the headlight switch.

then you should be able to slide the gauge surround out between the steering wheel and the dash.

Then remove the turn signal switch from the gauge surround (two screws) then you can get to the headlight switch (two screws). Most of the time the plug will be burnt at the back switch. If it is, then you will need to replace anything burnt (usually both the switch and the light switch harness).

I do have rebuilt light switches available on my webstore if you need one, but the headliht switch harness you'll need to get from Mazda or Mazdatrix. You don't want to use a burnt harness with a new or rebuilt switch. It will just burn up the new or rebuilt switch.

I do have
