Gas tank replacements

So in the act of getting my 1988 fc rx7 up and running I've concluded the gas tank is garbage and too rusted beyond repair ice looked at many sites and see a new oem tank is about 600 to 700 bucks I've looked on ebay as well and have found one but before I buy one I was curious if anyone knew of a cheaper solution like a compatible Mazda tank or an aftermarket company that makes one that would fit more or less making minor modifications isn't a problem for me thank you for the help In advance

there is no aftermarket, your options are either new or used. the S5 tank is bigger (more fuel) and if you get the S5 straps, it goes right in, so that is an option also
