What year? If its a S4 there's a fuel pulsation damper that is known to go bad. It's located under the manifold.

If ALL the gas is gone check if the fuel filter or line is rotted

Step one: Open hood and check for leak.

The forum is hurting my head this morning...

Check the fuel filter. Under the brake booster fairly low on the firewall. Could have a soft line split/burst down there. Hopefully that's where it is because the other lines are a bit more difficult to see and reach.

^^Hahaha

Seriously, man. Open the hood and check for a leak, then tell us where it is and we can help you. Maybe.
