Gas Gauge doesnt work

Gas Gauge doesnt work

hey guys need some help again. My gas gauge doesn't work. my fuel pump shorted out the night i tryed to start my swap, since then it doesnt work. anyway i can wire a new wire from the tank to the gauge? or what should i do to make this work? once again any input is great !

car - 91 t2 swap w/ walbaro 255 in tank pump. the harness is still there.

The bulkhead connector at the tank is not particularly stout and would be the likely start point in your diagnosis.

the blue wire to the top of the tank is for the fuel level sending unit. check it for continuity to the top of the tank from it's connector under the carpeting at the LR strut tower.

it's likely the wiring just didn't get connected during the pump install, on the inside of the tank connectors.
