My gas meter is f'ed. I just ran out of gas like a block from my house. The car kept hesitating from a lack of fuel. Could this have messed an apex like fuel cut on a turbo II does?

 

naw. If you need a new gas meter i have one separate.

 

typically the only thing running out of gas does, is burns out the fuel pump

 

I did the same thing when I first bought my car. I was trying to see when the low fuel light would come on, and it never came on. Luckily I coasted about a mile and a half downhill and into a gas station. lol

 

hah, I was driving my car kinda stalling about getting gas, and going up a hill it sputters, and drops rpms to like 1500 and then at the stoplight to turn to the gas station.. it dies. Guess I thought I had more gas than I did..
