Garage Painting

Hey guys just painted the door frame on my fc figured id post some pics, did it all in my garage lol could smell the fumes out on the street.

Lol i wasnt painting it myself, that was a mate who is a painter he had his respirator there and couldnt be bothered putting it on, he got sick of the fumes after the base coat and put it on

Urethane paint requires supplied air. You can't filter out Isocyanates. Something to think about.

Yeah its a red tinter with a gold pearl, really lights up in the sun looks sweet and it still doesnt look half bad in the dark. You would be suprised how hard it is finding a colour that has a lot of bling in the sun and still looks good in the dark. And yeah i know all about urethane paints i work on aircraft thats all we use you dont gotta tell me how bad they are.

Well i just got my doors done so here is a few pics of them, tried to do under the bonnett but the prepsol was taking off the old paint, so im going to play it safe and bead blast it at work first.

yeah rest of the car is next. We sprayed some base coat over the edge so we didnt have to sand back right near the new paint
