i am now having serious 2nd thoughts on selling my fc lol.



iiiiiii neeed to locate new ftp lenses, and new corner lenses the shizzle under the ftp. can anyone recomend a good site to pick this up from?


i also need the rear emblems. old owner took them off and now there are holes?


how are these secured? how much am im going to be spending to get these again? and from where?



Before the car was running 14 psi tuned to a 11.8 af ratio, how much should i richen it up after i get it broken in?


when in 5th gear at 30-35 when the engine kinda bogs, if i would accelerate to have it bog i would get a chirping noise, im guessing this is my throw out berring, correct?

Ha, sorry man. Got way off topic there. The parts you are referring to can be had very cheaply off of the forum here. You can post a WTB(Want to Buy) Thread for your needed parts, or simply search and find a seller. I am unsure on the last 3 Q's.

 

it depends...clutch in, it would be pilot bearing or input shaft bearing....clutch out is throwout bearing....but it would make the noise in all gears and at all speeds...

 

clutch out. and it only happens at light throttle and mainly when the engine is bogging, i do not recall hearing it otherwise.

 

I was missing an emblem off my car when I bought it. I got a bunch of stuff off of eBay for it (replacement parts for broken/missing things, and a set of winter wheels). Anyway, the emblems are secured on with adhesive. You can try to find some specific kind of automotive badge adhesive at a body shop maybe, or just use some outdoor rated clear silicone. That's what I used and it looks fine and is still on there 2+ years later. You need to try to get the hole insets with the badge, they're these little plastic bits that fit between the holes in the body and the little pins on the back of the badge.

There's always someone parting a car out and selling bits in the for sale section, you should be able to find someone in there who has what you need, or you can look on eBay too.

 

Victoria British isn't the cheapest, but they have many hard-to-find parts. Also, it doesn't hurt to call your local Mazda dealer and ask if they can get what you need.

1. seriously do SOME work man........no more spoon feeding for you.....
2. if you seriously don't expect some bogging down at 35 mph in 5TH GEAR then i don't know what kind of low end torque you're looking for but you won't get it.
3. www.mazdatrix.com has emblems......i'd recommend you leave the car with no emblems....the fasteners are sold on the site also.
4. common sense would tell me to go dynotune the car and richen it up a bit.....
5. you're pissing me off......quit posting and start searching.

 

oh and the red FC has broken headlight motors.....send him to the FS section to find new headlight motors.
