Funny problem!

Ok here it is guys:
Driving along normally for a few hours, sticking to the speed limit, reason being i've techically lost my licence.
all of a sudden car starts chugging along at 60km/h on ~2000rpm.
If something like this happens in my bike, i just drop 2 gears and fang!
tried it and it worked! dropped 3 gears in my case, and floored it till redline and stayed there for a few seconds.
Well it did the trick and i went back to crusing at 60km/h.
Can anyone explain this?

TECHNICALLY LOST MY LICENCE, FOOL!
Reason being: if i paid the fine, then i would have lost all my demerit points. I am currently in the process of contesting the fine, so i still have my licence and it's ******* legal too. Idiot... Hope you get hit by a truck.

I think the mods should be able to delete every post here except for the opener so someone might be able to answer the question.

Sounds to me like a miss or an ignition problem. Almost like the plugs are fouling out. Have you changed them within the past 15K?
