Full and narrow range tps?

has anyone else had a problem of the voltage dropping out for a split second during a voltage check?

as I depress the pedal the voltage goes up(on the voltmeter) and when it reaches 4.00v it drops out for a split second and keeps on going

and on the way back down it drops out at 3.7v

that means you need a new tps... thats dead spot.
infinite resistance = no voltage

move the throttle, the full range is the one where it touches all the time, the narrow range stops touching after you move it a little
