fuel recommendations for TO4b

I have a couple questions on what will be adequete for the fuel setup i will be running for my s5 TII j-spec with a TO4b turbo.

So far the list is:
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
720 x4 injectors
Safc II to control air/fuel ratio
hks fcd

For the Flow rate of the TO4b, i currently do not have it but im assuming around 320 to 340whp at around 12-14 psi of boost. Do i have enough fuel for this setup or do i risk running too lean and blowing my motor... The engine has been recently rebuilt with 0 miles so i would breaking it in for the first 500 miles...

I dont think the SAFC has enough adjustment ... But this is just a guess. But here is a great little tool. http://rx7.com/cgi-local/2ndgencalc.cgi

Just plug in your numbers... I tried it and at 85% (the very highest you want to go) of injector duty cycle you can get just over 350 hp

how far do you wanna take it ,, if i were you i would run the 720 primarys and get some 1000cc or higher for your secondaries. and also to remeber to re wire that walbro and i guess if you are gonna get it tuned once and thats it then the safc should be ok . but im in the same boat as you .. and im not too happy with my safc. so im getting a microtech stand alone . in the next few months .

isnt it true that the Safc II can only control up to 720cc injectors...

and also i would go standalone but, i have to get the car smogged and i've heard the check engine light would automatically fail me... Is this true.

thanks for the replies...still looking for some more responses

well if you get a stand alone you wont have a check engine light as far i have been told. as for failing automatically. here in ct that i think only applies to cars that are obd2 complient. but unless you have a s5 there are no check engine lights on a s4

That t04b isn't going to make 350rwhp...280-325 is pretty much it's efficiency range. 4x720 and a rewired walbro should provide enough fuel for that, and the SAFC has enough adjustment to control them (stock = 4x550 = 2200cc, new = 4x720cc = 2880cc, safc offers +/- 50% adjustment).

you could remove the check engine light bulb... My standalone is in the mail. I dunno what I'm going to do about smog Standalone is NOT legal in cali. You don't have the MAF on anymore which is pretty much needed to pass...haha and a whole lot of other crap. I dont see why they do that ****. I figure as long as you pass the sniffer who the **** cares what you have on your car?? I bet I could pass with standalone and a high flow cat sitting in my garage...so lame I'd fail visual badly..

well so far my parts list is:
Rebuilt engine
Mild street port with 3mm apex seals
TO4b turbo
Hks Dp
Custom 3inch pipe with 10" resonator no cats.
Hks intake
hks FMIC
hks exhaust Manifold
hks Fcd
koyo rad
i might add e-fan
and im still contemplating on the fuel system...

Obviously im gonna smog it with the cats and lean it out along with some denatured alcohol maybe...
Would it be necessary to get a wideband for tunning... or it isnt neccessary
thanks for all the responses.
