Convertible Top Troubles

Can anyone advise me as to how to oil my convertible top mechinisim? Sometimes the top does not want to move either way. Then sometimes it goets stuck halfway up but will still go down, so I play with it until it comes up.

I have tried to use some WD40 where I can see hinges but it is messy and does not seem to help my problem.

Where is the motor? Are they prone to getting weak and wearing out?

Thanks,

Doug

Check here for manuals relating to your model

My understanding of WD-40 is don't use it on anything you plan on keeping...I suspect your issue might be more related to your switch than to the motors, but I'm still green on RX-7 gremlins.
