Fuel Pump wiring 88 T2

My fuel pump wiring is all sorts of hacked up, I dont know which wire goes to which connector in tank, Can anyone give me a Description of car-harness side wire color and what it should show me with a Multimeter and where it should go, since mine are ALL mixed up . Should red-white be power to pump? what the heck is blue/green?

Thanks

on the rear harness ("car") side, the main pump power is blue. On the pump side of the harness it is black/white . That's the important thing to remember. On a stock car it should read around 9V at idle and 12V under any load. But in reality it's usually closer to 10-11 volts under load due to the 20 year old degraded wires.

Red/white and blue/green are for the low fuel light and gas gauge I believe. I think the ground wire is solid black on both side of the connector, but I can't remember.

check out a thread I made about rewiring the fuel pump: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/pics-my-overkill-fuel-pump-rewire-732904/. There is a link at the beginning of my post about how to rewire the pump retaining the resistor relay (which puts it at 9V at idle), or you can follow my writeup on how to bypass the resistor relay.
