Fuel Pump Question

I am going to buy a new fuel pump for my car (87 T2). It's a Holley 255lph. The listing says its for 89-91 7's. Would it fit, or are the S5's totally different when it comes to the fuel pump?

thanks

first thing everyone is going to tell you is, SEARCH.

from what i have read, you CAN install a 89 - 92 fuel pump on a 86 - 88 but you will have to make some modifications to make it fit right.

If I remember correctly, the Issue Is with the rubber Grommet found at the base of the Fuel Pump not fitting snug with the Fuel Pump Assembly. Nothing a little trimming won't correct.

Holley = Walbro
You should get the proper model though.
In your case, you'll need to cut off the fitting on the fuel pump bracket and use the hose included with the kit and two clamps.
