Fuel pressure regulator help.N/A

Those of you with N/A cars will you please lend a hand. With you car fully warmed up, will you please reach over and pull the vaccum line off your fuel pressure regulator and notice if there is a vaccum there. If there is a vaccum, that means that your fuel rail is being regulated to 28psi. With no vaccum its regulated to 40psi. Its unclear to me whether the vaccum should be there with a fully warmed up car. Even when the engine is reved up the vac is there on my car. There is a post in the 2nd gen tech section that explains a little better what is going on with this pressure regulator, but no answer just yet. The vaccum hose is easy to get at on 86-88, I don't know about newer cars. Thank you.
