Pulsation Dampner? I don't even know if it's in there, since it would have no checks to perform on it. What do you need to know about it?

It's at the end of the secondary fuel rail on USDM cars. On s4's its this yellow plastic thing at the end of the rail on s5's its parts of the fuel rail and cannot be changed like ones on s4s. Also I think on Jspecs the FPD is on the primary rail, I forget why.

You've got that completely *** about face. US models have the pulsation damper on the primary rail and the FPR on the secondary rail. Most (but apparently not all) Japanese models have the FPR on the primary rail and the pulsation damper on the secondary rail.

The FSM just tells you where the PD is, nothing more.

I think I kept thinking the location of the FPR because of his thread title and by the end of my post reminded myself it was the FPD. thank you for correcting me.
