in side the car the fule light is on wha could it be. the car drives fine

 

its a low fuel indication light, your about to run out of gas!!! LOL

it comes on when tank is very near emtpy... if your not empty then it might be the sensor malfunctioning.

 

low on fuel, usually those lights come on when you are down to your last gallon, unless you are sure you have a full tank then it might just a problem with the idiot cluster

 

Could be the float got a hole in it and sank! lol ditto on the sensor malfuntion as a possibility.

I have the reverse condition on my GXL it almost never comes on before I feel too uncomfortable to keep driving without fear of running out of fuel. Must be filled with helium or something!

lol hey wha can i say i just got the car the other day.

 

mine never came on in my GXL...I did run dry a couple of times thanks to that little problem. Atleast be glad you have a constant reminder that you need fuel.....eventually
