Fuel/Intake/Exhaust Experts and Gurus diagnose this...Ok

Ok, so I was driving on my way to Belle Fouche to see a girl. Its always these same cirumstances that my car is a total JEALOUS BITCH. She hates the fact that I am going to see another woman. Augh. She starts to overheat on the interstate. Outside temp is like 95, probably 120-130 ambient air on the interstate. Freaking hot as hell.
General speed: 75-95mph
Driveline: Auto, 2nd gear band snapped. Fixed oil cooler line.

Problem. The tranny over heats the radiator after about 15 minutes of driving on the interstate. I turn the heat on full blast and she drops between "very warm" and "normal". I get off the interstate and drive the service road (ambient air is prbably 100) and she cools down to normal temps.

The closer I get to belle fouche (its 80 miles) the more of a bitch shes being. I finaly pull off for a break to let her cool off. Shes not showing she's running hot water, but the tranny must be overheating. the only way I can keep a reasonably speed is to drive 80mph (computer will hold overdrive at 1/2 throttle.) Drop to 79 and she flies up into the 6000rpms and I don't like the idea of doing that on a fatigued tranny.

anways. I get there ok. I never actually saw kelly because my car is a total jealous bitch. Anways, there is a construction zone and we have to follow a pilot *TRUCK*. The pilot truck heads into very soft dirt that my car sinks into and bottoms out. I have to throw it in first and bearly drive out with my tranny pan, and exhaust scraping the off the road by about 2 inches.

On my way *HOME* Its still running warm as the only way home is back on the interstate. I here a huge backfire and hear my catback fall #%*#&@!!!!!
I get out and remove the mufler clamps. Freaking weld broke at the Y Pipe. Couldn't fix it because the car is too low. Couldn't fit the Exhaust in the hatch so I through it in the ditch in the tall weeds around Exit 8. I marked the road with a piece of duct tape so I could find it later.
( You try to sneakily throw your exhaust into the ditch and duct tape the interstate without anyone seeing you!!!!)

Anwyay, running NO EXHAUST and coming home, she does fine until the exit back into town. Still running warm, she just dies at 80mph. I coast it about half mile into the black hawk post office (haha, I love this part.)

I don't know how a car can flood while driving 80mph!?! My firs though was I punctured a fuel line, but nothing under the car, but it does smell like fuel.
I do some unflooding procedures and get her started (No exhaust mind you,in front of a small town post office). I make it all of 6 feet and she dies. I do this again 3 times and I let her idle the last time for 20 minutes. She drives home with no problem after that.

Is my fuel pressure regulator dieing?
My tranny is definately dieing. Manual Driveline parts ARE on the way.

Is there any way I can reliably drive 80 miles in 120 ambient air without the tranny overheating the radiator/engine?

Thanks gurus!!! My car is a total jealous bitch. I didn't see kelly, but I had someone that would see her pass her a note. I can't believe my car is so jealous. Anyways, Kelly didn't call tonite... I doubt she will really... but I had to try.

Thanks guys.

Not many people on tonite. just got back from picking up the catback in my buddies car. Its pretty much torn apart, but all I wanted off of it was the muflers and y-pipe.

Time for a Turbo engine and ditch the auto while you're at it.

Seriously, there's a ton of things it could be.
