Yes. But you will run too rich top end unless you can tune them down. And good luck finding high-impedance high flow injectors.

There is no such thing as a high impedence injector over 550cc/min.

You have to tie in resistors to bump the impedence up between 12 and 16 ohms.

For a streetported engine with a full exhaust, get a pair of 720cc's for your secondaries, you should be fine. I would worry about replacing the fuel pump first however. You will probably feel a bit of a stumble when the secondaries come on without a tuned S-AFC.

the injectors will make a bigger difference than the pump. i got 720s in my car and they are untuned for now. car runs stupid rich and there is a slight stutter when they start flowing. one question i have though. i got an 87 T2, what impedance is my car? the primaries are from an 89 i know that they are prolly wrong for the car. but the secindaries are right im sure of that. i think i need to wire in some stuff to setup the impedance for all the injectors, but im not sure what the impedance for the S4 and S5 cars are.

Go to the wrecking yard and pickup the solenoid resistor for the 86-mid 87 cars. Walla, you now have the proper resistor.

Early 87 had low impedence and guess what the later 87 have. Look for the solenoid resistor under the afm/filter assy. Free download of the factory manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com for a look to see what one looks like.

You have to check the month your car was made in, because halfway through the 87 production they switched to High impedance, I believe it was march, could be wrong(and usually am)

You can send your injectors off to get them "oversized" I am getting my high impedence injectors bumped up to 1000cc's costly though ... $178 Each.

VMB.....he was not as talented as you. Do it. Easy. Solenoid resistor has one wire to supply the 12v for the injectors and four coming out to the injectors. I'd get a solenoid resistor from the wreckyard and also cut off the plug from the harness that goes to the solenoid resistor so you'll have wires to splice to. Try to cut it off so that you have five or six inches of wire on the plug to splice to.

I think some folk have gone to radioshack and got resistors that did no meet the requirements of the car so to speak. If you swipe the solenoid resistor pack from a 86-87 model, you KNOW you have what is needed.

Yeah, trying to run resistors is a waste of time (theres 68 cents Ill never get back )Get a resistor pack from a pre 88 car, doesnt matter if its NA or turbo, thats the easiest way.

Price is variable, usually between 50-150 per injector. Id reccomend looking on thepartstrader or the for sale section here on the forum. I got mine off an 84 GSL-SE.

If it cost that much money per injector for a resistor pack .. hten you still have to buy the injectors... why not do like I am doing and have your current injectors moddified? Less money and WAY less effort.

Ahh, I thought you were saying 50-150 for the resistor pack per injector.. it might be a little cheaper to go that route then.

Price is variable, usually between 50-150 per injector. Id reccomend looking on thepartstrader or the for sale section here on the forum.
