fuel injector support? plastic piece in intake manifold, is it needed?

fuel injector support? plastic piece in intake manifold, is it needed?

On my intake manifold where the secondary fuel injectors push in, the plastic piece that supports the injector and disperses fuel is broken. Does anyone know where I can get this piece or whether I even need it?
