Question FUEL flood!

well guys i have had this prob for quite some time now . i have had to go around the problem seeing that i could not figure the exact source of the problem. the car floods at start up . i have a fuel kut off switch . well i installed that befor my engine blew and it would work but take forever to start up . well now i have a completely rebuilt engine and it works to start on the first try without floodin ONLY if u perfect the art of tapping the gas pedal at the right moment. well what im trying to get at is that i need some help to see where the prob may be coming from because if i get a paint job soon and leave the car there they will never start her up and kill the starter! can u guys please throw somethings out at me on what could be causing this and maybe some signs i can see that lead to the source of the prob
let me mention my ignition switch is bad too !
thanks guys
jack

Have you had the injectors professionally cleaned?
