Question Fuel Filter

Please don't tell me to check the FSM i lookin in mine and can't find it maybe i'm dumb but its a simple question so some1 kind please help me out. I found one filter under the car on the drivers side. (that sound right? its an 86 na) but i've heard there is a filter in the tank? Are there other filters for the fuel? If so please tell me where and how to get to them i really wanna change all mine i don't know if they ever have been.

there is a "sock" on the inlet foot of the filter loacted in the tank. CHANGE IT!,

I would also drain the tank and remove the sediment in the baffle area

just another tip. the new filter should come with some caps on the end. use the caps to cap off the line coming from the tank so gas doesnt get all over.

You can get at it from the steel bits you see when you lift up the carpet in the hatch area of the car. You'll need to de-pressurize the system. Look at the FSM for further instructions.

yea i got gas in my hair, took forever to wash out.
