Fuel is cutting off??!!

I've already asked Santiago, and I just want to get a 2nd opinion on this...

I've tried to fishtail out of a corner about 4 times now... Ever since the first time I've been basically been trying to see if it did the same thing...

When doing this, the fuel cut off for like 2 seconds about 3 seconds into the turn... It did this 3 out of the 4 times I've done this, probably all at varying RPMs because i'm only sure about the 4k RPM cut off since I just did it! Santiago said it was probably my fuel filter that needed cleaning... what do you guys think it is?? Thanks

I had the same problem in hard left turns. There was a thread about this not too long ago. I took out the intank filter and cleaned it per the instructions in the thread and the problem is gone.

When you did the hard left turns was your tank less than half full. I remember reading that it if the tank was not full enought on a sharp turn (don't remember if left or right) the fuel pump would have a hard time sucking up the gas hence the fuel cut. Might want to search to make sure but that is what I remember from the thread.

yeah... seems more on left turns than on right... it has done it on right a couple of times, and yeah the fuel was kind of low... I doubt I have all the skills to do this intank filter stuff, I'm a noob.

fill up your tank and see if it still happens. Then worry about checking the intake filter.

well, even when it's at a 1/4 tank, it really shouldn't cut out anyways right??
