fuel cut question

hi, i have a 1990 TII and iwas just wondering at was psi does it does fuel cut. i put the racing beat exhaust and im runnig 11psi and it still haven't done fuel cut. i was just wondering cause i hear members here that say that i needed a fuel cut controller because when i put the rb exhaust it was going to do fuel cut. but the car doesn't.

Fuel cut is at 8.8 psi, are you using the stock gauhe as a reference? Because thats not too accurate.

yeah but if he has RB exhaust then he would cut...do you know if the previous owner did anything to the car? is it possible he added a fuel cut defender?

no bro, the thing is that my TII was a gxl before and the owner did a heart transplant, he put an s5 TII engine,s5 TII computer and TII hood. the computer is stock(TII) no fcd i know cause i checked before i put the rb exhaust and even before i put the rb exhaust i was running at 9psi with no problem, i put the exhaust today and i test drive it and it ran like a champ with no problems of fuel cut and running at 11 psi(autometer boost gauge). people here tell me that my car is strange cause is the only one running at 11psi without a fcd or something. i like it cause nobodys rx7 here has done that. but as i said no fcd. i like my 7 lol.
