Is this Fuel Cut?

Im around 3,800 to 4k rpms and as soon as the vac gets to zero and starts to build any boost it looses all power like its getting no fuel and wont go back to normal untill i let off the gas a little.

You have to overboost to 8.6 PSI to hit fuel cut, so no, that's not it.

You could have a problem with your boost sensor. Make sure the vac line is on it, and test it as per the FSM.

have you checked fuel pressure? And you might want to see if your tps is out of adjustment!

the tps should be fine, i just set it last time i took off the UIM. The only thing i realy haven' t done is checked the fuel pressure. I did a little test today to see if i could find any remaining boost/vac leaks by charching the system with compressed air. I can hear some sort of leak but i cant point out where it could be. It almost sounds like it might be coming from the injectors or in that area somewhere. Not 100% sure if its a leak. I need to rig up a pressure gauge somewhere to see if i can get it to hold pressure.

That "little" leak is all it takes. It's a delicate balance.
