everytime i race, when it gets to about 4000rpm, it stalls every 1000rpm after that. if this sounds weird let me explain it alittle more...

i just downshifted and my rpm jumped to 4000rpm, then before it hits 5000rpm, it stalls, then it goes again and before 6000rpm, it stalls again, and before it gets to 7000rpm it stalls again and i have to shift at 7500rpm...

does anyone know what is wrong with it. some of my friends told me that it could be a fuel cut where i need bigger injectors or a bigger or new fuel pump..i dont know and i dont want to spend money on something i might not need..

this is a n/a rx7...

 

im having the same problem.at 4000 rpm it cuts out, and every one after that. I cant explain it either if you find out what it is let me know.

 

1. don't race
2. don't listen to your friends
3. what kind of maintenance have you done on the car?
4. look into getting an FCD

 

yes a fcd would be good either way

 

FCD would be pretty useless on an N/A

 

wait......it's an NA?????? hahaha, didn't notice................search for 3500 rpm hesitation............also look into your 5th and 6th ports to make sure they're opening....
