Fuel Controllers

What types of fuel controllers are you using on your FC? What has worked best for the money? What do you guys recommend?

When I get my TII...S-AFC digital all the way. From what I have read, best on the market for the buck.

Depends on what you wana do and where you wana go with the car. I am most likley going to be using a Haltech E6K, when I upgrade my fuel (wich will be before I ever remove my cats) because when I mod the car I will be putting a T04 on it right away. With just the RB exhaust and the stock turbo an AFC should hold you, just be sure to replace both the primary and seconady injectors with 720cc's or you will go lean before 3800RPM.

My plan is to get a bigger fuel pump and then I figure that I should be able to safely run 12 psi and then maybe 13 or 14 with an S-afc, with stock injectors. They are 550cc primary and secondary right? That seems like it should be enough.

As long as you have a good pump and get the S-AFC dyno-tuned, you should be OK at 12psi, as the stock injectors are big enough for 300hp as long as they get enough pressure.
Don't do past 12psi on the stock turbo. It's well past its peak efficiency and will start to add more heat than power, plus the bearing don't last long at the higher shaft speeds.

What evidence do you have to suggest I am wrong? I have seen results of an injector pulsewidth monitor on an FC and the primaries DID NOT EVER go over 60% duty cycle no matter what. And ontop of that, I had this again confirmed with a Fueltronics wideband on another TII. The car would go lean under the switchover point and then the car ran with a good A/F ratio all the way up after that. A set of 720's in the primaries fixed the problem. Higher gears and a more free flowing system mated to a stock turbo will only worsen the problem as the stock turbo gets going MUCH quicker than 3800rpm. Add to that the fact detonation/Pre-Ignition is more likley at lower engine speeds and its a formula for trouble. Any tests to say otherwise ?
