frozen injector

i went out of town for a 2 weeks and let the car sit outside. it was snowing a lot which is unusual for portland and then massive amounts of rain even for portland. when i went to start the car after returning and it made the distinctive running on one rotor sound. i tried to rev it up to unstick the primary injector but it didn't work. i turned it off, went to dinner and returned, started it again same thing but after maybe 5-10 seconds the injector unstuck and everything was fine. i went and drove on the highway and boosted a little to fire the secondaries and make sure they werent stuck. car runs perfect now

i had the injectors 550/1200cc cleaned/rebuilt less then 3000 miles ago, fuel filter is good, never had any trouble before today, though the car never sat for more then a few days. i once made the mistake of not having the injectors cleaned after letting them sit on the shelf (stupid, should have submerged them i gas?) after rebuilding the motor. one was frozen and the car made the same sound and acted the same.

this concerns me because i don't always need to drive and i would like to be able to let the car sit without worrying about the injector sticking. i don't know if it matters but i use a power fc, are if the injector drivers are not strong enough to unstick the injector, but i wonder why it is sticking in the first place, could it be that the fuel is leaving the rail and letting the injector "dry out" ? any experiential advice appreciated. thanks

Can you verify that this was a frozen injector incident and not perhaps a bad leading coil which is only working intermittently?

If the injector is sticking, have them all cleaned.

It's unlikely the leading coil as it's almost impossible for one side of the leading to fire and the other side to be dead.
