Front Suspension Damage?

Hey all,

While doing some road racing, I lost control on a corner and slid off the course. the front passenger tire hit a dirt berm just hard enough that would cause you to go "I could have damaged something". I was going 10 MPH or so and hit at a 45 degree angle with the tires turning left.

I drive off the track and go home. There was a pull to the right evident.

I do my own alignments and had the alignment dead on with 1/32" out on each front tire right before the event. At that time, the car drove beautifully with no pull. I checked the alignment after I got home and was 5/32" out on the passenger side. So I reset the alignment to 0 toe up front and take it for a drive.

On the drive, the exact same pull to the right was still there. I have checked the suspension components and don't see any signs of damage. I checked the straightness of the tie rods and no apparent damage.

Give me some suggestions on what to check and what could be damaged.

Edit: Just checked my camber (have adjustable coilovers) and I am now less about 1 degree on the pass side. I was at 2.8 degrees negative now estimate 1.5 or so. Adjustment moved with no real damage done. Can this affect the pull I am feeling that much? I will adjust later comment.

Thanks,
Ben

id look at the lower control arm, if you get a replacement from the junk yard etc.. good time to throw some urethane bushings on em.. than inspect the cross member mounts while your at it.

Check out the strut mount at the spindle, i know some coilover holes are slightly slotted it might have moved.

OK, a good start and will do that tonight as well as taking off wheels to visually inspect closer.

Everyone please feel free to add to this.

Yes uneven camber will cause your car to pull. Your car will steer to the side with less negative camber. Just like how leaning on a bike causes it to steer. I've noticed small changes in camber can cause a noticeable difference.
