Front Smashed

I have the car back for about a month from the engine rebuild and a stupid woman looses control and takes out the front left of the car. Theres about $2500 worth of damage. Shes not insured and is on a pension. People who are not insured should not be on the road. My insurance company has said if they dont get the money from her, I will have to pay the excess. What crap. It was not my fault.

your insurance company sucks. take that lady to court if she doesnt pay up. make sure to get all your reciepts together. even the tiniest things like what you paid for oil when you filled it up after the rebuild. or zip ties that you had to buy. everything you can possibly find.....if it was recent enough, the judge should give it to you. at least here in america he would. and dont forget the value of the time invested in putting together your car/rebuild. that really sucks though bro....if all else failed, id kick her in the nuts...wait....oh well

Buy a shell with a broken motor for cheap and start swapping over parts.

Meanwhile, MAKE the lady pay.

You've obviously never lived in Australia. Down there, cheap RX-7 is an oxymoron.

hey man--before you do anything else, go over your insurance policy. At least in America, insurance companies always try to get out of paying what they are required to by your policy. If they are telling you they won't pay, but your coverage states that you are covered for this kind of thing than you can take your case right to them and they will have to pay. Companies here are notorious for trying to save their money. That sucks *** man....I would be out for blood now....if the policy shows that the company covers you for this, and they still say they wont pay, tell them you are gonna take them to court. Most times, the threat of court should be enough to change their mind, and if it isn't then go to court!! Just a thought--hope this helps.

the insurance laws must be totally different in austrailia.. in canada, insurance is mandatory and you face up to a $25,000 fine (thats a FINE for just being caught) if you drive without insurance
