ok i know its not the best combo, but there is the stock upper mount that bolts down to the strut tower, and a black rubber 5 inch round disc that the old springs used to settle on.. my question is can i scrap the disc? because i haven't seen any noticeable drop. i figure it is due to this part? any ideas

 

they are called.. the upper spring mount.. and spring mount.. i guess its 2 peices that got compressed into one.
