front clip

i am sorry if this is posted in the wronge section but i think it belongs here. is $1700cnd a good price for a running jdm front clip off a turbo 2. i know the compession and the general condition of the motor is the main thing and will cheak that before purchase but wanted to know if i was on the right track.

any feed back would be great or if anyone could send me in the right direction for a turbo 2 motor in calgary that would rock too.

thanks

our local shop that does jdm clips wants $1,000 down and then an end total of $2,500 for a front clip of an s5... so i think thats a good price. they couldnt even guarantee the engines condition. and the dash, etc. wasnt even in good condition b/c it had other clips sitting on top of it. if you paid for a front clip... wouldnt you like the possibility of RHD conversion if you wanted? then again these guys are wierd. lol. later.
