Why can't I find a cruise controll switch that fits?

I've got a 90 GTU which of course has no cruise. I've always kind of wanted it, and now that I've been in Montana for a while I REALLY want it. I've been trying to collect the parts, so far I've got the CPU and a of couple actuators, but I've had the hardest time trying to find a switch that fits. I've gotten 3, one I know was from an S4 and the other two were supposed to be from from S5's but they still dont fit right. Now have I just had really back luck finding the switch or could there be something different with my dash surround? I'm tired of takeing my dash appart to find that a switch wont fit. I dont know if my stearing wheel surround will survive much longer.

S5 cruise control switches are all the same.

You would not be able to use a S4 one
