A Friend's newly done T2 (pix)

This is a friends car..has never had any attention here on the boards, car just came all together now and today decided to do a small shoot .it had the stock turbo and made just over 250rwhp at 12-13psi i believe. now its got a GReddy FMIC, Haltech E6k, Supra/550/1600, To4B Vtrim .96, and a BDC Streetport....expecting 400rwhp. heres the pix of the car with SportMax wheels 18x8.5, 18x9.5 sittin on HKS HiperMax coilovers....

the car has a factory paint job, and he bought the FMIC from rx7store, and they only make those sizes in 18's

great looking car, but the 18"s are only going to slow you down! very heavy! that setup, w/ some nice 16-17" gram lights..... and you have something!!!

Without a doubt that looks awesome, but...

IMO the guys that put looks ahead of performance and fuctionality, I think that's stupid.
That car will drive and handle all f'd up cause those rims are so huge and heavy. Suspension geometry will be all off, it's now not geared correctly. Far too much unsprung weight. Alot of the money you spend on suspension and on the motor is thown out the window when you put those rediculously huge wheels on. Just my 2 cents.

Although I dislike the S5 "conversion" stuff its a nice car on the "inside" It sounds like the guy was doing some good work in the engine bay.

Sweet looking ride....I'm with about everyone else on the "performance first" factor though.

That car is beautiful. All it needs a nice lip on the front bumper.

Perfect - except for the decals.

What's with the left lane in the last shot? Are you in Japan??

At what PSI are you looking to get 400rwhp out of a TO4B? I was just wondering, because I was told that T04Bs were only slightly larger than stock. The car looks great, what did your friend do to get the stock paint to shine like that?

sweet ride and he will need the 18's on the back along with at least a 255 to keep 400 or so planted on the ground. I have the same problem right now. The full to4 requires you to upgrade alot more stuff than you think. I will try getting some 255's on the back of my 17's and if I am ice skating around I am going 18.
