fresh rebuild no start

whats up guys, i rebuilt the engine in my 91 na and i turboed it, its got spark and fuel but doesnt wana start, i tried the oil in the sparkplug hole trick, but no luck. i have n rtek 2.1 also and i checked the error codes using that and it says error code 11 IAT (engine)
error code 12 and 18 which are narrow range tps and wide range tps.

my question is can these error codes be the reason that my car will not start?

i know that the default settings (if sensor is messed up) for IAT is 68 degrees so that shouldnt be the problem, (thats pretty much the weather here)

any help would be appreciated.

Some people contend their cars won't start if the TPS is not connected, but mine does not respond as such so take it for what it's worth. I believe if the ECU doesn't see the TPS input signal that it will default to a full throttle setting. Would this cause a flooding situation? I do not know. You might want to disconnect the electrical plug to the pump and try a second of starter fluid into the intake duct and see what happens.

You should still be able to start the car even with a TPS issue.

Are you running an aftermarket EMS? And when you say, "i rebuilt the engine in my 91 na and i turboed it" - Do you mean you have turbocharged the N/A engine? Or you've swapped a 13BT?? <- If this is the case... Is it a JDM engine?

It's na internals and housing but turbo ii irons, and tii manifolds. I might have to push start it but I want that to be the last resort. It's kind of an aftermarket EMS, it's an rtek 2.1

I know for correct tps adjustment the car is supposed to be at operating temp, but for someone who is in my situation, (unknown tps condition, and unknown setting). Is there any guideline for resistance for TPS when cold.

so it was originally a non turbo, you rebuilt it and modified it to be a hybrid n/a engine turbo setup and then the issues arose?

then i doubt you have everything you claim or it is severely flooded. there is 3 basics, they are very basic and rather easy to rule out but i'm getting tired of quoting myself on the easy steps to rule each out so i will just say a few simple words and you can do the rest of the work figuring out what it means.

spark(remove the plugs and ground them and crank with EGI fuse removed, all 4 should fire, make sure CAS is timed properly)
fuel(starting fluid)
compression(just what it sais)

Yes I've checked all 4 spark plugs and they have spark, it has fuel I can see the vapors creeping out my exhaust.(still flooding is a possibility, and I have 720cc injectors, which I have heard are more prone to flooding.) I checked it with a timing light and it's timed fine. So the last one is compression, I guess I need to compression check it

Are the irons ported? I have a TII block that I run n/a and I think if I remember correctly it needed quite a bit of fuel to start.

vapor doesn't mean ****. it can be coolant, engine oil or assembly lube used to assemble the engine. get a can of starter fluid.

Before you do anything else compression test the engine.you said you have spark and fuel what about enough cranking comp?rule out the easy stuff first then look at everything else!whay spend hours of messing around if you dont know for sure that the engine is gonna be able 2 start.
FUEL
SPARK and
COMPRESSION
make a happy running engine.
