Fresh Headlight cover: did u cut the metal under?

Hey if u have a cover, did u cut the metal under it to improve the airflow? There's like 2 layers, I just got done cutting the first one.
Can I cut the second one without ******* up anything?

The performance gains better be worth the ten bucks I spent on the hacksaw!!

I not only cut out the exoskeleton of the Headlight, I cut the rubber flap that lines the edge of the hood. With the Flap still in place, you will get no "ram air" going Into the Engine Bay.

ya took that out too.
Now it seems that the stick thingy that holds the hood when it's up gets in the way. I'm gonna try to cut it and make it shorter.

Becareful not to cut to much off. Eitherwise, water will seep In and fill up your Cold Air Box, should you have one.
