They didnt make RX7's until 1979, and even then I dont think they offered 4 spd...unless it automatic.

Does he have anything done to the 1st gen? I think he'll win without some major stuff done to your car, especially if he has a decent engine with any mods at all.

a 12 a? lol come on hes droped the cluth about 100 times at 9,000rpm and nothing is done to it ecept bad tunning
mine has a mariah cold air box k&n cone filter clearence for air flow ,corksport exhaust , and i can realy launch well with this auto i know a trick ! called hold brake and hit gas and reless brake almost as fast as you gave it gas , + im a way better driver hed prob wreck , and is it true they made a single rotar engine in some rx7 , cause some guy at the races have a single rotar and runs 10's in the qutar pullin a wheelie 6ft high off the line, and it looks like it realy is a single under the hood!

Its just that autos run like in the 18s stock. And thats with the car running perfect including the transmission. You can add your mods and it might give you like 10rwhp, but you still have an auto. The 12a cars ran like 17 flat.

And there is no single rotor production vehicle that I have ever heard of. Single turbo 3 rotor maybe?

The 2Gen has a lot more stuff than a 1Gen. About 400 lbs more. Everything else being equal, you are going to lose. However, it depends on the condition of each car, performance mods, and most of all the drivers. There is only one sure way to find out who would win a race, and that's to go down to the local track and go to it.

Ok someone misinformed you. I hate to bring all this bad news, but your car is more like 27xxlbs and his is like 24xxlbs maybe.

That N20 is your best bet.

Alright, this boy just isn't too right. I believe he might have been beaten with the T bar a bit too many times in his life. First I really would like to know if this is a real person or some dumbass fooling around? Cause seriously I don't believe anyone can be THIS ignorant. Frist off there is no single rotor production ever, who would want a 600 cc car??? Second you cant spell cutch. It isn't cluth it is cutch you ******* idiot....does your c no work on you keyboard??? Anyway I don't really want to demorilize you all that much because if you are as intelegent as you are on this forum in real life your friends must insult you enough

Please edit quickly, lol. Its CLUTCH everyone. And you refer to a car with a clutch as a manual, not a clutch.

What do you get, 30 minutes to edit? If so hes got like 20 left, lol.

And don't take your car to a junkyard. Sell it to someone that wants an auto, and not a race car. Hell, I wouldn't suggest an NA at all to someone who wants to be fast in a straight line, even a manual one. You really need a TII for what you want to do. Get the right tool for the job. You don't use a hammer to cut a hole do you

Don't take it to the junkyard, I'll give ya $500 for it, and I will do that work for fun, an Rx-7 is not for you if you don't want to work on it. And go buy that camaro Sounds right up your alley.

OK, there are a few things I have to say here.

Lets start with spelling "c-l-u-t-c-h", dont say it was a typo, because you have spelled it wrong in two threads...THREE TIMES! then there's "t-u-n-i-n-g"...also spelled wrong a couple of times.

That being said, we move one. You bought the slowest model of RX7 you can get, save for an auto 'vert. Yes, your friend in the "1970 cluth RX7 with the 4 spd. 12A" will beat your auto NA...deal with it.

You are bitching about noone giving you any advice...here's some.

1.) proof read your posts for errors
2.) quit trying to BS a board full of 25,000 RX7 enthusiasts
3.) sell your RX7 and buy a "Camero"...
4.) have a great day.

Actually, the 10A is a 2-rotor. It was in the RX-100

The Rotary Dr. (Kyle) in Neosho, MO has one sitting in his shop.
