FREE electric fan!

if you have ripped out your a/c including the "radiator" and fan, put the fan back in and wire a switch to it to your cab=free cooling, I hooked it up to old fog light wires, so to use it I just turn on my fog lights

that is probably one of the worst ideas i have seen, just short of the "airpump=supercharger" idea.... its good that you are thinking, but think about the fact that the fan is very tiny and doesnt push much air to begin with, you cant jsut run this by itself or you will burn up your motor in no time, i think it cuts on automatically at 210 degrees or so

Yes, bad idea. That fan is very small and does not have the capacity to cool your motor. Have you removed your clutch fan? If so then you're relying on yourself to remember to turn on your electric fan. Bad idea #2. Wire up a thermostatic switch that will turn it on automatically.
