FPR won't go on right

Hey,
Ok I kind of messed up my fuel rail by filing it down to make the injectors fit tighter. So I switched it for this one I had in a box. The thing is I wasn't sure if the FPR was working correctly so I took it off to replace it with the one I had on the previous fuel rail. The only problem is now it won’t screw in so the fuel line is facing down. It’s at about 7:30 (the angle of the fuel line) and it the UIM won’t fit because of it. If I loosen it till 6 o' clock then I can basically unscrew it by hand, and it’s not going to be able to tighten all the way to 6. (By the way we are talking about the upper fuel rail, the secondary I think)

One last question
Is the TII fuel rail different then the N/A (still talking about the "secondary" and this includes the FPR)? Also if so is there anyways to test to see which one you have?

Do you have a copper crush washer on it? If so try adding another it might just be enough to tighten it where you want it.

Ok thanks I will try that. By the way is it ok to reuse the washer that was on there?

God Bless,
Zach

Do you have the rubber o'ring on it?

The S4 non turbo bolts on the rail on the front of the rail, so you can't interchange.

Ok I found out that the nut on the FPR actually screws in so you can screw in the FPR by hand and then tighten it with the nut. The reason I didn't know this before is my nut was kind of stuck to my FPR.

So you’re confirming HAILER that the N/A S4 fuel rail including the FPR won’t work on the S4 Turbo II.
