fpr bad?

fpr bad?

quick question...on my 87 t2 if i pinch the return line with my fingers on the fuel system and my idle eleveates and smooths out is my problem a bad fpr?

I think not because you are not letting the unused fuel go back to the fuel tank so you are makeing the injectors use it all. I think that is what is going on here but im not sure.

lightly pinch....with figers not vicegripping the line off....just enough pressure to increase the pressure in the lines not cut them off

If you pinch the return line, you are raising fuel pressure. The only way to test the regulator is with a fuel pressure gauge.

What are you trying to troubleshoot?
