I just found a 87 TII for 2400$...he'swilling to negotiate. Im thinking I can trade him my 87 NA for like 600-800 bucks and then pay the rest...if not i think i can get him down to 2,200$ od possibly 2k. Both our cars are in abou tthe same condition. Good deal or not?? what do ya think?

Well what condition is it in? Any leaks? Overheating? Smoke? How many miles? Engine been replaced/rebuilt? How is the body/paint? Interior? Boost good? Any mods? Need to know these things. I mean it could be worth from around $5000 to about $1500.

Is leaking really a problem for cars in USA? I mean, I've looked at many old cars here and none of them are leaking. Like NONE leaking. Does cooler temperature help prevent leaking?

My TII was leaking coolant and still leaks oil. My friends NA leaks oil. I know of one other person that had an FC that leaked too. Always a good thing to look for because you might have to tear the engine apart to fix it. We all know how much that costs.
