found HKS PFC F-Con in my car

I was taking out my carpet in my car to change it when i was lifting it out of the car i found the HKS PFC. Is it more like a SAFC?? Im not that good at electronics and was wonering if its any good? Wish i had a camera to take pics.

better than an SAFC but has less adjustability, it overrides more than just tricking the ECU into thinking more air is going by the AFM, the HKS F-Con iirc also intercepts and modifies timing as well as fuel.

I knew you had something ridiculous in there... Did you ever discover what that boost-controller looking thing under your hood was?

F-Con does NOT intercept signals.
It uses its own pressure sensor signals, reads engine rpm, and fires the injectors according to its own freewill.

its running great, everything is alot smoother than before, its jsut a little shaky at idle i need to find that vaccum leak or whatever it is. I also did a s5 conversion to it, and changed the grey interior and carpet to a black one.

get a boost gauge in there that reads - vac. That way you have a better idea as to what's going on at idle.

Either way, I assume you set the TPS and timing correctly? (I seriously can't remember if I asked you this already, lol). What's your idle at?

How many miles do you got on it?

get a HKS GCC and plug it to the Fcon for better tuning. I got my HKS GCC for $48 off Ebay brand new and HKS Fcon for $100 used but in great shape with no scratches. Just got to wait for a good deal.
